These Parisi Farms sweet potatoes were proudly grown in SC. We believe in providing our customers with the best chemical-free produce available. These purple sweet potatoes are medium to large in size and are long, cylindrical, and oblong. The skin is semi-smooth and brown with many medium-set eyes scattered across the surface. The flesh is vibrant purple with white and violet striations and is firm with a low moisture content that allows for a drier consistency than most sweet potato varieties. When cooked, these purple sweet potatoes offer a dense texture with less sweetness than their orange counterparts. These sweet potatoes are fresh dug and shipped dirty. This is done to prolong their shelf life, if stored properly they can be preserved upwards of 90 days.
